在第十四届韩国釜山亚运会中国一共得了150块金牌，84块银牌和74块铜牌，中国代表团再次以骄人的战绩第六次蝉联“”。
釜山亚运会是北京申奥成功后，中国参加的第一次国际综合性大赛，680多名中国选手平均年龄不过23.3岁。
在射击、举重、游泳、自行车、田径、射箭项目上，中国军团共有6人3队17次超创9项世界纪录，11人11队22次创22项亚洲纪录，39人6队75次创37项亚运会纪录。
在游泳、举重、射击三个项目中，创造了10个奥运会小项的今年世界最好成绩。在这三个项目上与悉尼奥运会相比较，有11个小项超过了奥运会冠军的成绩。

1、张楠
张楠中国体操队队员，北京选手。2002年釜山亚运会获得女团、个人全能、自由体操、高低杠的四枚金牌让她一举成名，并荣膺当届亚运会体操最佳运动员。
2、张怡宁
北京奥运会乒乓球女子团体冠军得主。在之后的女单决赛中，在先失一局的情况下，以4比1战胜王楠，蝉联奥运冠军。
从而，张怡宁成为继邓亚萍后中国又一位在女单项目上实现卫冕的选手，总共夺取四枚奥运金牌，追平邓亚萍、王楠、伏明霞、郭晶晶和李小鹏的纪录，成为获得奥运冠军最多的中国选手之一。

蔚山岩
蔚山岩由6个花岗岩山峰组成，周长4公里。登上蔚山岩，可以看到雪岳山的胜景和东海、达摩峰、鹤沙坪水库一带。蔚山岩名字的由来有3种传说：一说是由于出现篱笆路而称作“蔚山”（韩国语法相似），又说取自庆尚南道蔚山的地名，还有说是将“哭的山”用韩国语汉字化。
登上蔚山岩顶峰（4公里），大约需要2个小时。经过神兴寺沿着大路走约10分钟，转到左边的路上，可以看到一座桥。过了桥右边是安养庵，再往前走25分钟，左边是内院庵，从这里的休息处去继祖庵约需10分钟（300米）。继祖庵位于一块巨大圆石下的洞内，里面有一个人就可以推动的摇晃石。继祖庵是利用天然岩洞建造的庵，站在摇晃石前面向继祖庵后看，可以仰望蔚山岩。从继祖庵沿着陡峭的山路爬500米，有被称作东洋最大岩石的蔚山岩，高950米，四周是绝壁，有808级铁梯。

龙头山又名“龙头岩”，这座山峰其形状好似一条腾云驾雾的龙从海平面飞向空中的模样，顾名思义它被称为“龙头山”。这里能够观赏到美丽的海景和四周秀丽的景色，在夕阳的余晖下，显得格外有情调。公园内建造了一座具有代表性建筑的釜山塔，它象征了釜山历史文化的悠久和长远。
太宗台
太宗台是釜山市的受保护文物，与五六岛一起都属于代表釜山的岩石海岸很有名。以海拔250米的最高峰为中心，长有松树等200多种的树木。
新罗（古代国家之一，占领朝鲜半岛的一部分，公元前57－公元935）第29代王——太宗武烈王（604－661年）巡视全国时曾在太宗台射箭游玩，因此而叫太宗台。太宗台的灯塔下有一块神仙岩，据说曾有神仙来此居住。
神仙岩上有一块望夫石，据说是一个女子天天在此等候被强行带到日本的丈夫归来，最后化成了石像。每当大旱时，太宗台就在举行祭雨仪式，每年阴历5月初十下的雨则称为太宗雨。天气晴朗的时在了望台上还可以看到远处的对岸马岛（日本的岛屿）。

于釜山的名山金井山麓，是距今约1300年前的新罗（公元前59-公元932年以庆尚地道区为中心的国家）文武王（661-681年）18年（678年）时期义湘大师（625-702年）所建。[35]
地理志《增东国与地胜览》中，对梵鱼寺的来由是这样记载的：金井山的山脊上有一井，呈金色，有金色鱼乘五色云自天而下至井内玩耍，故得名金井山、梵鱼寺。
梵鱼寺最初的建筑在壬辰倭乱（1592-1598年）时被毁，而建筑是1713年重建的。大雄殿建筑手法细腻而华丽，堪称李朝时期（1392-1910年）建筑之顶峰。
寺内有建于9世纪左右的三层石塔和由四根柱子支撑的一柱门，还有7座殿阁、楼阁，3扇门，11座庵堂等。此外还有受保护植物－藤树林与其间的溪谷融为一体。
广安里海水浴场
广安里海水浴场是位于釜山市中心和海云台之间的道路中，到此来的游客仅次于海云台海水浴场。因位于城市中心，交通非常的方便，每年都有30多万名游客到此来。长1.8公里，宽120多万平方米，海水清澈。[

2002年10月14日晚，在韩国釜山社稷体育场，亚奥理事会副主席萨米赫·穆达拉尔正式宣布，第14届亚洲运动会在韩国釜山闭幕。 闭幕式在241名学生的古曲芭蕾舞中拉开序幕，同时1000名来自中小学校的学生组成的舞蹈方阵为亚运会拉开了“回家”颂歌的序曲。整个演出体现着“喜悦与自豪”，体现着韩国人民对亚运会成功举办的祝贺，及对远方朋友离别时的依恋和深深的祝福。 釜山亚运会组委会主席郑淳垞在闭幕式上表示，釜山亚运会是亚洲有史以来不仅规模最大，而且最成功的体育盛会。亚奥理事会副主席穆达拉尔向釜山市市长颁发了感谢勋章，以此感谢釜山市民为该届亚运会做出的特殊贡献。本届亚运会“最佳运动员”奖项亦在今晚揭晓，日本男子游泳选手北岛康介以绝对优势当选“最佳运动员”。 随后，第一届亚运会会旗、亚奥理事会会旗在本届亚运会主办方韩国釜山市、亚奥理事会和下届亚运会主办方卡塔尔多哈市之间进行了交接。 来自亚洲四十四个国家和地区的所有亚奥理事会成员都派团前来与会，使本届亚运会成为亚运历史上名副其实的一次“大团圆”。而朝鲜民主主义人民共和国的派团参赛，使得本届亚运会又多了一层推动朝鲜半岛民族统一的积极内涵。
